Getting the Numbers Right (GNR) is a benchmarking tool developed by Cement Sustainability Initiative (CSI) that provides the relevant information to allow the industry to monitor and compare its performance across regions, year-on-year. The GNR database is a voluntary, independently managed global information database providing verified data on the cement industry's CO2 emissions and energy performance since 2008. The database provides aggregate anonymous data gathered using a common protocol from a large sample of cement producers, across various countries and regions based on emissions data from individual cement plants. It aims to develop representative statistical information on the CO2 and energy performance of clinker and cement production worldwide. The interactive GNR database is freely available and offers energy and CO2 performance data for all global regions and selected countries. The database is accessible here.
