The European Special Glass Association (ESGA)

The European Special Glass Association (ESGA) is under CPIV and was founded in 1999 by Corning, Samsung Corning, Philips and Schott. The members today are Corning, Keraglass, Schott Glass and Sklarny Kavalier. As a member of CPIV it represents the special glass manufacturers in front of European Institutions. For their members, the association gives a platform to directly influence European decisions concerning special glass industries, such an example is its participation, providing CPIV with inputs from the Special Glass activities and lobbying actions within REACH, an European Community Regulation on chemicals and their safe use which entered in force on June of 2007, as well
